CO Promise to ease Business Operations in Nairobi

Zipporah Njeri Mwangi, chief officer nominee for business and opportunities has promised to create an enabling environment for business owners in Nairobi County.

She stated that trade and cooperatives department will be made accessible for people of Nairobi to access services conveniently and timely, to grow the City to a financial hub.

“I promise to support our youth in promoting their talents, music content creation and business ideas. I have great interest in promoting digital economy, creative economy to open up opportunities for our youth to employ themselves while advocating for TVEs as well as training centres to provide trainings and skills that are in line with the job market to open up more opportunities,” she said

The youthful chief officer nominee also pledged to advocate for East Africa Community (EAC) to work on non-tarriff barrier that is a great hindrance to the EAC countries doing business freely.

“I’m also looking at
ensuring that investors get one single business permit to remove and ease the tedious and cumbersome process thats is not friendly to the investors,” she stated.
