CAVB Board approves Commisions and Working Group

The Confederation of African Volleyball led by President Bouchra Hajij held ilon Friday held their board meeting that witnessed the approval of CAVB Commisions and Working Group for 2021 -2024 .

In the meeting that lasted close to seven hours, show at least 98% of national federations received representation in the 12 commissions that were approved by the board members.

President Bouchra will lead the executive committee and also take charge of Overall management, Human Resource Planning, Marketing and Zonal Affairs.
First Vice President General Idriss Dokhony from Chad will be in charge of development and training.

Kenya’s Waithaka Kioni will oversee finances while his fellow vice presidents Adnan Bakbak (Libya), Antonio Carlos Rodrigues (Cape Verde), Casimir Sawadogo (Burkina Faso) and Fredrick Ndlovu (Zimbabwe) will be in charge of sports organizing, beach volleyball, spokesperson and new product design for volleyball respectively.

Lesotho’s Mpho Palime takes over legal responsibility from the late Sven Samuel while Zambia’s Agnes Nakaonga will be in charge of gender equality and promotion.

Engineer Habu Ahmed of Nigeria will take charge of liaison with FIVB while Daniel Moladi (Botswana) and Sanga Kone (Cote d’Ivoire) will coaches and project management. The three will also be part of FIVB Board of Administration.
