ODM Mombasa gubernatorial candidate Abdulswamad is now leading by 45% and is being trailed by Suleiman Shahbal with 23%.
This is according to Consortium of Researchers on Governance polls released today.
In Kilifi county Gideon Mungaro is leading the gubernatorial race by 57% followed by Aisha Jumwa who have garnered 26%.
Kwale County Chai Lunganzi is leading by 45% and is being followed closely by Hamadi Boga with 28%.
Taita Taveta County Dan Mwazo is Leading with 20% and he is being followed by current governor Granton Samboja.
In Tana River Dhadho Godhana has maintained the lead by 45%.In Lamu Isaa Timamy the former governor leads with 35% followed by current governor Fahim Twaha.
According to Consortium of Researchers on Governance Director Charles Makolonde the research was based on issues affecting the residents.
“Our aim is basically to sensitize the citizen we started on issues what issues do you want addressed..and that’s why our survey only touch on gubernatorial aspirants.” Makolonde said.
