Access to health information for women, children, and adolescents will now be made easy after the development of a Digital Platform for Partnership of Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health(PMNCH) which will facilitate the engagement of accountability actors.

This is a platform that will be a one-stop for all the resources for the stakeholders, practitioners, and MNCH programmatic interventions.

“Although many credible accountabilities exist, they are not easily available in one platform. It can be difficult for practitioners, program designers, and other stakeholders to access these resources and when they do, it is not always clear how to interpret them and use them to respond to unique needs and contests,” Said Ilze Kalnina from Partnerships for Maternal Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH).

The accountability compendium seeks to enable stakeholders to access accountability resources related to WCAH, increase understanding of the accountability framework and use the resources to strengthen accountability mechanisms through linkages.

The materials that will be uploaded to the compendium include; case studies, government reports, Global and regional commitment documents, Budget documents, and many more important documents.

The development of the compendium is ongoing and soon will be launched and we will be able to know who will be uploading the content, how long it will take to validate it, and how credible the information will be.

With support from all the health stakeholders, the compendium will be the best ever to be made.
