Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi has upgraded all public primary schools in the constituency that have been in pathetic condition for years.
The legislator said that most of the public primary schools in the constituency were in a bad state in 2013 when he got into office.
Leaking roofs, stained blackboards, broken furniture, potholed floors and clogged ablution blocks hindered proper learning at the schools.
Speaking after handing over more than 30 classes at Karura Forest and Farasi Lane Primary Schools, the MP said that the upgrade of schools has improved their learning environment.
Consequently, he added that parents have grown confidence to enroll their children at the schools.
โThe improvement of school infrastructure has improved many things. One of them is improved confidence among parents to enroll their children in the schools,โ Hon Wanyonyi said.
The head teachers at both schools thanked the legislator for transforming their schools.
Westlands NG-CDF has consistently been ranked the best across the country especially for their extraordinary impact in the education and security sector.
